Job Responsibility:
? Architect, Deliver and maintain Integration and Messaging projects and platforms across FM
? Work with the integration functions to integrate FM to wider bank initiatives
? Deliver integration framework that would have firm-wide visibility and impact
? Drive a Web Service oriented messaging strategy large-scale system integration (utilizing webMethods) and be able to continually improve on boarding, testing and rollout processes with zero production failures
? Provides architectural and design directions of the messaging bus to ensure high-quality solutions and consistent deliverables to support the FM architecture
? Participates in all design sessions and provides technical leadership (including firm-wide architectural discussions, technical decisions, technology recommendations, defining standards, leading POCs, and mentoring developers).
? Perform technical analysis for the solution build-out, staged feature rollout and future enhancements
? Understand and analyze in detail high level business requirements and deliver comprehensive Functional Specification, Interface Specification and Design documents
? Develop and maintain automated testing tools for rapid regression testing
? Work with SG based management to schedule and deliver on boarding of new message components and services through the delivery lifecycle and Change processes
? Mentor and develop skills of developers (both senior and junior) of the team.

Qualifications & Skills:
? At least 8 years of large-scale distributed system delivery experience focusing on solutions architecture and software development
? Has a high class degree in a numerical subject from a top university.
? Industry experience preferred but not essential – however experience required in an industry where high message volume, complex transactional data structures with zero failure tolerance (i.e., telecommunications, aerospace or Internet services) is essential
? Good communication, technical troubleshooting and demonstrable problem solving skills
? 5 years+ development J2EE development experience, including Integration Brokers (webMethods, WebLogic, JMS, TIBCO), EJB, Java performance tuning.
? 5years+ database development experience, preferable Oracle
? Strong experience working with Spring, Hibernate, SOA, ESB, pub/sub, Design Patterns, Complex Sytem Usecases and Integration pattern
? Knowledge of messaging formats eg. XML/XLST transformation, FPML, SWIFTML or industry equivalent (e.g., ebXML, RosettaNet), messaging standards
? Experience with large-scale data and application integration architecture and technology (Messaging, publish/subscribe, MQ)
? Experience working with geographically-disparate development teams
? Ideally have worked in a large-scale global organization with complex system portfolio and knowledge of Legacy system migration.
? Significant knowledge of one of the following would be beneficial: Content Management Systems, Workflow systems, Business Process Modeling and analysis.
