Description
Supporting the Commercial team as an expert in the solution portfolio. This includes:
To write and review Statement of Compliance documents and customer solution descriptions
To write and review marketing material
To contribute at customer visits as the solution and technical expert
Deliver technical presentations and seminars for internal and external customers
Responsible for Overall Solution Life Cycle Management
To define and produce functional requirement specifications. This includes:
Together with the SI CPM identify scope and cost estimation
Perform intelligence acquisition and analysis on market trends, competitors, etc.
Lead and perform advisory studies and pre studies
Participate in customer projects, handling scope, risks, changes and customer expectations
Analysis of technical needs, characteristics and performance of the existing and/or proposed systems and/or to give technical solutions to improve its performance focusing on customers needs.
Define, manage and verify solutions in customer projects, including handling and management of third party products and suppliers.
Identify new business opportunities
Support local partners, subcontractors for SI solution areas
Technical support to sales, marketing, project managers and the customer, including pre-sales activities
Qualifications
Degree holder in Telecommunication / Electronic Engineering / Information Engineering or higher
Over 10 years of IT/SI experience with strong Telecom domain knowledge, processes and standards in BSS/OSS Space
Ability to solution large scale complex business transformation engagements with processes, solutions and operations
Rich experience in consulting, progressive business systems analysis, end-to-end solution design, development and implementation of large-scale integrated systems
Knowledge of eTOM, ITIL, TOGAF and SID framework for designing solutions for service providers
Solid Solutions strategy development experience for service providers using leading COTS systems including Billing and CRM package like Siebel along with OM, Mediation and provisioning system
Sound experience in rollout strategy for green field operator in BSS/OSS space and various other IT applications
In-depth knowledge of the following domains below:
- Must be strong in various operating system such as Solaris, AIX, HP Unix, Linux and different hardware platform
- Good at Programming and Interface protocol
- Excellent at Service Integration
- Good project management skill (PMP certified)
- Sound knowledge in Clustering and system virtualization
- Good understanding of GSM/WCDMA/LTE network is an added advantage
Knowledge of Ericsson technologies is a definite asset
Excellent communication, presentation and consultative skills with customer oriented manner
A good team player with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
Self initiative, independent and able to work under pressure
Strong customer focus and high concern for quality is required
Fluent in spoken & written English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus.
Applicants with less experience would be considered as Assistant Solution Architect; while those possess higher qualification could apply as Senior.
