Description：

We are searching for a Firmware Architect to provide consultation to Micron Technology’s eMMC firmware development team in Shanghai.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Offering experience and wisdom to our management and eMMC firmware team on development and project execution in Shanghai
2. Propose innovation for projects/products.
3. Help our Shanghai based team to work closely with fellow US based product engineering team and Flash memory design team to solve cross-functional design issues, therefore to ensure the quality of the products;
4. Offering experience in detail engineering discipline such as coding style, code review process, branch and trunk management, firmware module unit test methodology, etc.
5. Offering experience in using analysis equipment or software to effectively analyze and resolve functional power or performance issues with the firmware and hardware in test environments or target host systems.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates for this position will have:
1. 15+ years of experience in field of mass storage firmware development in US company or global company
2. Strong hands-on firmware design and debug experience
3. Knowledge of flash translation layer, wear leveling, and garbage collection
4. Knowledge of eMMC/UFS
5. Knowledge of Storage system technology of Encryption(TCG, etc.)/RAID/Compression
6. Ability to work in a demanding environment with a group of energetic young engineers
7. Ability to embrace culture differences with warm heart and open mind
8. Knowledge of Flash memory (NAND / NOR), eMMC/USB/SD controllers and device drivers
9. Experience in test equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, logic/bus analyzers and code tracers)
10. Willing to work fulltime in Shanghai
