Description:
Product engineer in charge of eMMC product development, include roles of product validation, new product introduction and new product feature design

Responsibilities:
1) Data sheet verification, FW validation, Performance characterization and System validation
2) Support failure analysis
3) Support hardware design
4) Support characterization software development
5) Support customer on new product enabling
6) Review customer requests, conduct gap analysis.
7) Coordinate with stakeholders to approve or disapprove the customer requests based on the financial benefits and engineering capabilities.
8) Forecast/analysis product yield and test time
9) Feedback controller/package issues to suppliers
10) Quick response on manufacturing issue
11) Studies and analyzes existing eMMC systems, understand and explore customer usage model.
12) Define product feature/performance and reliability capabilities
13) Propose firmware changes based on requirements and NAND/controller capability.

Requirements:
1) 3+ years experience at Electronics or semiconductor working background
2) Experience includes managed NAND product development flow, firmware validation H/W and S/W
3) Experienced on the algorithm of managed NAND validation methods
4) Experienced on managed NAND features and performances
5) Experienced on raw NAND and controller capabilities
