Responsibilities / Tasks
1) Client quality verification and support to ensure that the workshops/mills are fabricating and working within the requirements and are in compliance with the client specification and industry standards.
2) Able to Write English detailed inspection reports and communicate in English and Chinese with vendors and co-workers.
3) Welding and Visual Inspections to discover and prevent manufacturing and design defects.
4) Currently certified and perform NDT inspections such as UT, MT, PT and RT film interpretation for OTCG Pipe, Casing, Flanges, Valves and Structural Steel componets.
5) Witness the suppliers for loading and unloading of goods and insure the tracebility and quality of the clients products.
6) Perform NACE/Coating inspection of comodities and steel structures components.

Primary Role
1) NDT and Welding Inspector to perform process or final Vendor Surveillance during inspection of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) products and commodities, API Pipe, API Casing, Steel Structures and Pressure Vessel and Mechanical Equipment.
2) Perform workshop and mill inspection related to industry field, such as piping, valves, fittings, pressure vessels, boilers, mechanical equipment and structural steel platforms.
3) Perform site inspection Quality Audits and Expediting, related to project in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas Power Energy and Large Steel Structures.

Competencies
1) Minimum 3 years working experience with Client Vendor Surveillance, NDT and Inspection of OCTG products and Structure Steel fabrication projects
2) Familiar with International Codes and Welding Standards, such as ASNT, AWS, API, ASTM, ASME, PCN, CSWIP, EN and ISO.
3) Ability to Read English and interoperate drawings, welding specifications (WPS, WPQR), welding inspection reports, material certificates, inspection test plan (ITP) etc.
4) Ability to frequently travel and work in different cities in China for short and long periods of time.
5) Strong Knowledge of English (spoken and written) CET 4

Professional Experience
Visual/ Weld Inspection, Coating and NDT operation experience of OTCG, API Line Pipe, Casing, Flanges, Valves, Mechanical Equipment and Steel Structures

Project-Experience
More than 3 years working experience of Client Vendor Surveillance, QA/QC NDT and Inspection of fabricated OCTG goods and Steel Structure is desired.
