McObject LLC seeks a Software Engineer to join the Company’s development team. McObject builds eXtremeDB, a widely deployed data manager optimized for use in embedded systems, financial systems and real-time applications. Education Requirements: Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar field
Experience Requirements: Proven professional experience in software development using C/ C++, Assemblers and Java on UNIX (Solaris, HPUX, Linux, QNX ) and Windows platforms. Experience with real-time/embedded platforms such as VxWorks is helpful. Network programming, solid understanding of operating systems internals, distributed systems, middleware technologies and a programming background in a variety of operating systems is helpful.
Knowledge and ability to implement mathematical algorithms, searching, sorting, memory allocation techniques and optimizations are essential. Database development experience is a plus, but is not required.
The successful candidate will possess reasonable English language skills.
The successful candidate will be a member of a highly experienced international software development team located in the United States, Europe and Asia. Strong communication skills for productive result-oriented remote office work are essential. Working knowledge of office productivity tools, e-mail clients, FTP and HTTP clients is highly desirable.
Compensation commensurate with experience. In addition to the base salary, the company offers performance bonuses and ownership interest options.
