Position: Quality Control Engineer
Location: Shanghai
Report To: Technical Manager

※ Job Description:
Target:
- Responsible for efficient and accurate implementation of ITP;
- Responsible for quality aspects of Orders executions and daily supplier management;
Task & responsibilities:
- Under Technical Manager supervision, will be responsible for performing on-site supplier qualification audit :
o Follow inspection plan provided by Technical Manager;
o Ensure to receive from audited supplier all elements required in report;
- Under Technical Manager supervision, will be responsible for production quality control;
o Assist Technical Manager in defining efficient I.T.P.;
o On-site visits to ensure compliance with Purchase Order;
- Under Technical Manager supervision, will be responsible for pre-shipment inspection:
o Ensure that goods and equipment provided are in accordance to Purchase Order;
o Visual check to ensure that no obvious major issue will arise;
o Packing check to ensure that all necessary measures have been taken to avoid damage during transportation;
- If and when required, coordinate with 3rd party service providers for further testing and/or inspections ;
- Ad-hoc tasks: Perform tasks as and when required in function of the company workload and priorities, some may not be directly related to the above tasks;
- Travel: approximately 50 % of the time

※ Requirements:
◆ Education background:
- Bachelor degree and above, better related to Quality Management or Technical background related to construction equipment and materials;
◆ Professional skills:
- Minimum 5 years working experience – preferably in international trade environment – with proven records in quality management and suppliers quality improvement, factory inspections and audits;
- Previous exposure to on-site activities and quality control, from both suppliers and construction/end-users sides;
- Knowledge of Chinese standards (GB) – preferably hands-on - and main international equivalences;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Satisfactory computer skills, ability to draft detailed reporting;
- Pack Microsoft Office fluent usage;
- Fluent English, both oral and written;
