Duties
? Perform product engineering evaluations on Analog/Mixed Signal and RF ICs including ESD/LU testing and bench to ATE correlations.
? Perform statistical performance ATE characterization over process, voltage, and temperature to insure products are designed for manufacturability.
? Conduct life test including burn-in circuit design; and package qualification on new ICs in various packages and process technologies.
? Debug product issues and make recommendation for redesign or process change to drive product performance and/or yield improvements.
? Verify RMA and customer return on system and component level.
? Support offshore manufacturing and insure customer delivery commitments are met.
? Provides initial production support, monitor and improve yield, and support the initial production ramp before transferring products offshore for production testing.


Desired Skills & Experience
? BSEE from an accredited institution or equivalent is required; an MSEE or equivalent is preferred.
? Requires at least 5 years of recent, hands-on Product Engineering experience in a semiconductor environment with an emphasis in Analog/Mixed Signal and RF devices using CMOS technology. Experience with power management devices is highly desirable.
? Must possess a proven understanding of device physics with a detailed knowledge of CMOS processing including a good understanding of the mechanisms that effect IC reliability and mean time to failure.
? Have solid working knowledge of analog and mixed-signal circuitry with experience in designing bench test fixtures and Burn-in HW. Prior experience in analog / digital IC circuit design is a plus.
? Knowledge of ATE test platform such as V93K pin scale, smart scale and port scale RF and experience of bench automation test with Lab Window CVI or C/C++ is a plus..
? Must have knowledge and practical experience using standard lab equipment such as spectrum analyze, network analyzer, power-meter, function generator and AWG, etc……
? Expertise in characterization data collection/crunching and statistical capability analysis using common tools is required. Experience with tools such as Galaxy or Data Power is a plus.
? Selected candidate must demonstrate good failure analysis techniques, possess efficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills and have a proven track record of identifying and resolving device performance and yield issues related to design, test, package, or process problems.
? Self-motivate and team player.
