JOB DESCRIPTION
1.Merchandising
? Source new suppliers (Asia, Europe…) for fabrics, trims, accessories
? Organize Planning Production schedule and responsible for the follow up
? Negotiate best prices with suppliers and liaise with customers regarding the quotations
? Visit to suppliers to follow up production, insure best quality, delivery of the goods on time and solve problems
? Liaise with customers during the whole production process
? Plan samples making schedule and follow it perfectly so as to get orders smoothly
? Cooperate with QC team, follow the schedule for inspection sheet, guarantee quality goods
? Liaise with freight forwarders, manage shipping documents, insure delivery are on time
? Accounting, profit sheets, management and follow up of payment terms
? Develop PPT to show Private Label developments
? Create follow up report to ensure smooth communication with Head of Design


2. Business Development
? Create and develop the customers’ portfolio
? Maintain a comprehensive and up to date library for all suppliers and contacts
? Attend Canton fair or/and other international or domestic textile / fashion shows to develop new suppliers / customers


3. Fashion Designer (A plus!)
? Work with the Design team on several Collections’ development
? Produce Men’s design, using computer-aided design (CAD)
? Creation of product technical specifications sheets and fabric charts
? Visit clients to follow up the Collection Development processes



REQUIREMENTS
? Fashion Merchandising, Textiles or Apparel Design related degree
? Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator (CAD) and Pack Office
? Ability to draw and to interpret designs and sketches
? Appreciation of details, shapes, proportions and sizes
? Understanding of garment construction, different textile materials and their properties
? Interest in mens’ product development and cost price calculation
? Hardworking, artistic, enthusiastic individual with entrepreneurial mind-set
? Ability to take initiative, extremely organized, open minded, team player and attention to details
? Good written and spoken English, other languages a plus


PACKAGE
3,500 RMB
Lunch allowance
Company covers all travel costs related to business trips
Chinese official holidays calendar + 5 days

? Only people with a very good level of spoken and written English will be considered for the job
? Only cv in English will be considered
? It is a Junior position (maximum 2 years experience in a similar position)
? It is a Merchandiser Position. If people also have a Fashion Design background it is only a plus. But we are not looking for a Fashion Designer only.

. We design different styles and for different segments such as: casual & high-end wear, life-style sportswear and downtown fashion and all type of products: T-shirts, shirts, casual jackets, suits, knitwear, city & casual trousers, garment with washed treatment, accessories…

. We advice and guide every customer at each step of the product development process: understanding of seasonal trends, selection of colour themes, fabrics and accessories, creation of model designs, technical sketches and conceptualization of final products, factory sourcing, patterns correction, production follow up and merchandising.
