Purpose

The Product Specialist (Medical) is a sales role, however, the focus will be working with medical device manufacturers to identify and resolve technical Issues relating to design and manufacture of components. Reporting to Technical Services Manager who is a English.

Responsibility:

Deliver products into the Asian market for Johnson Matthey Medical Components which is based in USA

Visit customer sites to ensure our manufacturing capabilities match with the customer design requirements

Communicate with our manufacturing facilities in USA to ensure closure of issues

Some travel in the rest of Asia, and to the United Kingdom for training

Requirement

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a science disciple – preferably in Chemistry, Materials or Engineering

Self-starters with a high degree of integrity

Be capable of working effectively with minimum supervision and as part of a team

Excellent communicator and listener with the ability to build relationships with customers and suppliers

Minimum two years’ experience in design, development or manufacture of medical components or devices is preferred.

More than three years’ experience and have worked on the development of a large range of devices

Fluent in Mandarin and English. CET 4 is must.
