Responsibilities:

-Responsible for mechanical design and development of new products in various industrial applications. Your job scopes include concept design, mechanical detail design, rapid prototyping and first-off-tool qualification.

-Meet project deliverables and schedule

-Interact with operations, customers, suppliers and other research organisations.

Job Related Skills

-Experience in new product introduction and product improvements advantageous.

-Able to communicate well with customers and suppliers

-Excellent communication in English (both oral and written) as well as strong project management skills

-Meticulous with tracking and control of project milestones

-Team worker, self-starter, logical and deadline oriented

-Able to take pressure and work under tight schedules

Education

-Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years’ experience in product design

-Proficiency in using Pro-E for product development in the electronics or mechatronics industry

-Experience in plastic injection molding, sheet metal stamping and die casting process will be added advantage
