Custom Solutions Developer

Reporting to Operations Director, this role will be supporting Epsilon’s clients with custom data-centric solutions from the email marketing production databases. This position offers a valuable opportunity for the candidate to be part of a leading global marketing agency.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the design, development, delivery as well as the monitoring of the custom reports.

· Custom reporting/data mining solutions

· In cooperation with technical consultants, review the feasibility of custom reporting solutions projects and define the specifications of these projects.

· Develop custom reporting, solutions or supervise the development with off-shore teams.

· When required, work with the Operations team to roll out the report in the custom solution environment

· Project management and scoping, planning and execution: Estimate amount of work and timeline, ensure customer expectations are met within deadlines.

· Responsible for the delivery and sign-off of projects.

· Work on projects developed by the off shore team used for custom solution implementations.

· Project archiving (Statement of Work, project plans, specifications, documentation)

· Build strong relationship with peers and database team based with other regional offices.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Technical Skills

· Microsoft's flavor of SQL

· Transact-SQL

· MS Visual Basic .NET

· ASP (VB script)

· DTS Package

· SSIS, SSRS, SSAS

· Oracle and PL/SQL desirable

· OLAP

· PERL,

· PHP or ASP, HTML, XML

· Knowledge of data mining/statistical package tools such as SPSS, Clementine, SAS
