Norduyn is a dynamic fast growing aerospace company involved in thedevelopment and sale of innovative lightweight solutions for commercial and militaryaviation markets. Norduyn is based inMontreal with manufacturing facilities in Montreal and Shanghai, China. Thecompany employs nearly 180 employees.

If you are at ease working in an international and evolvingenvironment, this opportunity is for you. We arelooking to recruit someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment andbeing the link between several departments in the company and the customers.

Responsibilities:

1. Find new/alternate sources of supply for all raw materials and components; find acceptable domestic sources for materials and supplies
2. Ensure all supplier products and raw materials meet or exceed technical specifications
3. Negotiate supplier contracts to maximize value for Norduyn
4. Work with supplies and vendors to minimize risk in inbound value streams
5. Develop and implement vendor management programs, including vendor training, key measurements and accountability
6. Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Quality Departments to ensure a consistent supply of quality materials
7. Collaborate with corporate groups to source new materials, components and supplies for new products

Requirements:
？ Degree in Mechanical Engineering
？ Be familiar with ISO9000, AS9000（ AS9000 - Aerospace Basic Quality System Standard a plus）
？ Minimum 6 years professional business experience with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility
？ Comfortable negotiating tough, favorable contractual arrangements for the company
？ Consistently demonstrates the highest standards of honesty and ethical, moral professional behavior
？ Comfortable with a significant volume of business travel
？ Able to consistently deliver targeted results in a dynamic, shifting business environment
？ Demonstrates sound business judgment
？ Possess an intermediate understanding of:
Operational Excellence principles
Quality standards and tools (SixSigma, PDCA, kaizen blitz)
？ Excellent communication skills, comfortable making professional presentations in front of a group of peers and senior leaders
？ Team player a must
？ Chinese native; English a plus; French a plus-plus
？ MBA a plus
