Electronics Design Engineer – China Operations

Our company seeks a professional and trustworthy employee as an Electronics Design Engineer. This person must be willing to work hard to assure electronic designs are completed and tested to allow product releases and production schedules to be maintained.
This position is full-time and does not permit the employee to retain other employment outside of the company.

Requirements:

？ Minimum 5 years Electronics design experience in the area of florescent ballasts and LED drivers.
？ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline desirable but equivalent work experience is acceptable.
？ Be skillful for use of 2D and 3D software such as OrCAD, Pro-E, Solidworks and Autocad etc
？ Ability to write and conduct and/or direct product design verifications and validations.
？ Experience to research and evaluate Electronic, mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment.
？ Be familiar with electrical engineering related manufacturing processes and designing.
？ Knowledge of electronic components, PCB, PCBA, and other electrical components along with the ability to evaluate designs and processes.
？ Knowledge of lighting ballast design and construction is a must.
？ Good understanding of project management for household appliance or electronic consumer products.
？ Ability to create and manage BOM (Bills of Material) to assure the details of the project are not missed.
？ Ability to coordinate vendor activities in supply chain to support development as well as timelines to manufacturing.
？ Knowledge of quality applications, such as Six-Sigma, Cpk，PPAP，DFMEA, TQM is a plus.
？ Excellent communication skills.
？ Strong ties and relationships in manufacturing community.
？ Hands on experience in performing assessment of designs to determine compliance with agency requirements, product requirements/specifications, documentation and reporting.
？ Disciplined, self-directed, task-oriented.
？ Good interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
？ Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin).
？ Ability to work independently and faithfully

？ Ability to coordinate several projects at one time through multiple departments to assure tasks are completed and times-lines are met.
？ Ability to evaluate supplier processes as well as implement new processes to meet product requirements.
？ Assist in locating, inspecting and qualifying new vendors.
？ Responsive communication to support other China offices as well as the corporate office.
