Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clinical, nonclinical and CMC project plans.
• As a matrix team leader, ensure that all project work is optimally coordinated and effectively communicate to teams and individuals work requirements and deadlines.
• Lead project planning and risk management activities.
• With the project leader, develop strategy and set agendas for project team meetings and other high level meetings.
• As appropriate, set agendas and lead project-focused (sub-team) meetings (e.g., technical issue resolution, clinical supplies planning and execution).
• Record and track issues, actions, and decisions.
• Report to upper management on progress of activities against agreed upon timelines.
• Develop and maintain high level view of project budget across functions.

Requirements

• A BS/MS/PhD with minimum of 15 years working in pharmaceutical development with a focus on cross-functional team management.
• Strong clinical, nonclinical, and/or CMC project management and project planning background.
• Experience supporting Phase III clinical trials and clinical and CMC aspects of NDA submissions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and influence across functions.
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in working with the Microsoft suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project.
• Know how/when to apply organizational policy or procedures to a variety of situations.
• Outstanding oral and written communication/presentation skills, with a proactive style of reaching out to all relevant stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong abilities in influencing and negotiating in a team environment. Ideal candidate will have:

-A strong pharmaceutical project management background.

-A robust understanding and working knowledge in the inhalation products field.
