Sales Executive Job Description

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the primary responsibility of the Sales Executive will be to drive continued global expansion into the China market through a direct sales model. The Sales Executive will be responsible for all aspects of initiating customer meetings, managing & closing sales, and continued expansion of customers. Necessary skills include strong business acumen, successful negotiation skills, and networking savvy to build and execute firm-wide strategies to meet overall revenue objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Driving new revenue by identifying opportunities, participating in pre-sales calls, delivering customized presentations
  • Managing the complete sales cycle for the specialized product lines, including working with customers, prospects and the account team, from the prospecting stage through closing and implementation
  • Build strong relationships with customers and create trust and confidence at multiple levels, including users, key contacts, managers and president level executives, to increase revenue opportunities

Skills and Experience Required

  • Enterprise sales experience to large companies
  • BS or BA required; or other advance degree preferred
  • Eight years or more of experience in sales or consulting in the information technology industry or related high-value engineering and service products or services- preferably into strategic or national accounts
  • CPG and Retail business/application experience and knowledge preferred
  • Chinese: Fluent
  • English: Fine oral communication (Ability to communicate in English only sales calls and sales training)
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strong sales, revenue and growth goals
  • Outstanding negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation, writing and communications skills. Includes the ability to present complex solutions in a customer-facing environment in a communication style appropriate to the audience, which will include president level executives
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation, with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple activities and reprioritize when necessary to ensure revenue goals is achieved
