I.SHORT JOB DESCRIPTION

Handling with all appropriate logistics related works especially import and exporting activities in SMCN

II.AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

Issuing & Releasing Purchase Orders to Suppliers
Ensuring the appropriate approval as per DoA, Company Chop
Checking Order Confirmation against Purchase Order, communicating any discrepancies as appropriate
Progressing of delivery status with Supplier
Receiving & confirming Suppliers invoices against Purchase Orders and Goods Inwards receipts
Issuing Payment Request to Finance
Supporting communication internally and with Suppliers regarding any issues with deliveries (delivery time, quantity, quality)
Arranging incoming logistics when necessary
Communication with Supplier, Logistics & Customs to ensure smooth Import of goods
Issuing relevant documents & payments for Customs clearance
Handling Export procedure for all items - Customs clearance & Logistics
Closely cooperate with variance departments on import/export affairs
Perform other duties as required.

III.SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES

1.Education/studies
Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Foreign Trade Business

2.Professional experience
Minimum 1 years experience in logistics
Minimum background of 1 years in industrial environment
Experience in procurement is a plus

3.Further training and development
SAP experience a plus
working knowledge of basic materials testing equipment a plus

4.Miscellaneous
Excellent written and oral communication skills needed to clarify, disseminate and interpret purchase requirements to suppliers
English, written and verbal
Power of persuasion
Good knowledge of PC-work (MS-Office: Word, Excel etc.)
Commercial knowledge & customer oriented manners
Knowledge of markets, products and technology associated with assigned area is required

IV.SPECIFICATION OF THE JOB

Complexity of the job
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong negotiation skills are used for meeting pricing and delivery objectives.

Working relationship
Must be able to communicate effectively and interface with virtually every position within the company.

Level of getting control
The management has to be informed about extraordinary, relevant issues on the market.
While encouraged to work independently, this position is responsible for keeping the Management up-to-date on all strategically important issues.

Control responsibility
Reports to be introduced as the volume of activity increases

Financial responsibility
This position is charged with approval of all outgoing Purchase Orders. Ensuring that appropriate T&C have been applied. Excellent and thorough record keeping is required to justify all major purchases. Any deviation that has a negative impact financially on the Company must be thoroughly documented and approved prior to release.
