DEPARTMENT: Supply Chain – Shanghai Disneyland Resort


DEPARTMENT OVERIEW: The Shanghai Disney Resort Finance team is a growing group of professionals, responsible for financial management for the overall Resort project and includes such functions as Operations Finance, Financial Planning, Tax, Controllership, Business Planning, Advisory & Assurance, Business Operations, and Treasury. The extended Finance organization also includes Corporate Alliances, Operating Participants, Supply Chain, Sourcing & Procurement, and GBTS


DESCRIPTION: This position will manage the Shanghai Disneyland Resort (SHDR) logistics and import operation during the development phrase achieving compliant, smooth and cost effective delivery of products, services, and information. Daily operational management of imports and domestic movement from origin to warehouse and warehouse to off-property outbound shipping including, but not limited to: 3PL and carrier daily operational and service policy oversight, transportation daily flow service decisions and logistics project support. This position will also provide logistics and trade compliance expertise in support of various projects.

GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:
? Daily Operations Management
? Manage efficient product flow decision via exceptions management to meet project development schedule.
? Execution of shipment bookings for all inbound import and domestic shipments to the Resort, including but not limited to:
? Shipment executions with Carriers via exceptions resolution with Disney Buyer, from Supplier cancel date (booking and delivery compliance, compliance testing clearances, consolidation, to shipment execution/sailing).
? Monitor in-country delays are recognized and resolved.
? Manage the forecast of upcoming ocean volumes per carrier needs and communication.
? Manage the 3PL in-country system input accuracy, operating guidelines and performance
? Logistics Processes
? Designs and implements decision-making processes and practices
? Plans and monitors multiple projects in a comprehensive, structured manners.
? Manage in-country project execution as identified in our corp. business planning process that drive improvements in service, cost, systems or other areas as deemed necessary.
? Supply Chain Partner Performance
? Work to continuously foster positive and effective relationships with trade applicable partners
? Develop, monitor, analyze and report on KPIs target for services and cost efficiency
? Quarterly continuous improvement feedback sessions and action planning.
? Import Management
? Lead import operation with closely working with all business function internally finance, sourcing, legal, project management.
? Act as operational liaison to local Customs, CIQ and other authorities in resolving government inquiries and facilitating import permit application.
? Centralize Customs valuation; HS code and Tariff classification, Country of origin and Record keeping procedures.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Bachelor’s degree and 6~8 years minimum of Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, Import related responsibility
? Experience managing logistics operations, import & export transactions
? Ability to implement global strategies to improve service, quality and cost of logistics across all lines of business, across all sites.
? Excellent guest/customer focus.
? Great change management and collaboration skills.
? Excellent relationship skills with ability to work in a global, multi-functional environment with all levels of stakeholders, from Executives to Subject Matter Experts.
? Demonstrated verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills.
? Critical thinking & problem solving to assess logistics opportunities and provide actionable outcome based solutions.
? English and Mandarin
? Logistics Management certification a plus
