Key Responsibilities:
- Review requirements, specifications, user documentation and other project documentation to assure quality of the tests to be developed;
- Identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to the testing process.
- Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments stable and healthy.
- Research and document bug reports following agreed-upon processes upon discovery of a quality problem when necessary.
- Co-ordinate testing with IT team, then report/follow-up on test failures to R&D team; perform other testing-related duties as required.
- Perform technical support related to the day-to-day computing needs of Shanghai office via phone, e-mail and Intranet as well as perform problem determination face-to-face and work closely with IT support in Shanghai to support China/global offices.
- The preparation/stability of the test environment when requests for testing on the latest builds are required/requested by Product Managers.
- Mainly dealing with R&D (for testing), but also work with IT team (for test machine software/hardware preparation).
- Ability to work on his/her own, but also within a team framework; Perform with strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills.
Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience in QA;
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, concepts and testing tools; Excellent judgment, decision making, and organizational skills.
- Solid programming skill to take active role in testing frameworks development.
- Higher education qualification (A levels or equivalent).
- Fluent English Language Skills
