Position : Commercial Development Associate

Main Responsibilities:

· Perform industry research and competitive analysis related to nylon and its related value chains

· Manage communicating trends in fundamental drivers of market conditions with team members and business leaders

· Develop market points-of-view for products including supply/demand, product balances and trade flows, cost stacks, and margin forecasting

· Develop and manage market analysis models and knowledge systems

· Economics modeling, analysis, and other decision making support for commercial initiatives and capital projects

· Support potential merger and acquisition activities in Asia Pacific

· Deliver profitable solutions through analytical observation and alternative analysis

· Effectively present results and recommendations to senior leadership in both written and oral formats

· Assuming responsibility for 100% compliance with the laws, regulations, company policy, and industry standards applicable to this role

Main Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience in market analysis, economics, or commercial/business development

· Excellent communication skills (Mandarin Chinese and English)

· Excellent analytical skills

· Ability to work independently, self-directed

· Capable to both participate in and lead conversations with senior management

· Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members and consultants

· Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

· Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, chemistry, engineering, economics, or related discipline

Knowledge & Skills Preferred:

· Experience providing market analysis services in the energy or chemical industries

· Experience in financial modeling and database management

· Master's degree or higher in business, chemistry, engineering, economics, or related discipline
