Material Planning Manager

Job Scope

? Responsibility for the planning of local parts including all special requirements along the supply chain application of material planning methods and tools with the aim of securing the supply of the required parts for the originator according to the target agreement.
? Assure the supply performance according to the demands of the plant / partner / central office, taking into account all possible inluences on the supply chain and the varying supply terms.
? Coordination of any necessary additional methods to ensure in time availability of local parts regular discussion and coordination with local suppliers, regular monitoring of supply quality and escalating according to the agreed processes
develop, establish and supervise additional processes like runouts, parts for after sales, dangerous goods, non production material.
? Leadership of logistic projects for the development of the supply chain process.
Development and optimisation of the process taking into account adjacent specialist areas within the production and supplier network.
? Generating weekly and monthly reports regarding material planning targets and objectives.
? Coordinate and lead internal process enhancement projects within department.
? Maintain a good balance between stock in warehouse and the demand for the stock.
? Minimise inbound logistic costs without the risk of plant stoppage.

Skill and Experience Required

? Degree or bachelor in engineering or business administration preferably with logistics as specialist area
? IT knowledge, MS Office, SAP, ERP-SAP software
? Experience and advanced knowledge concerning production control systems
Knowledge of supply planning processes including packing, transport, material flow, and logistic costs
? Specialist knowledge concerning the interconnections of material control systems;
? Proficient English in written and Oral
? 8 Years Background in Logistics and advanced knowledge concerning material planning systems
