Outbound Vehicle Network Specialist
General
Supports Outbound Logistics Leadership in Planning and operation of Plant compounds and dealer deliveries
Replaces/Represents Manager during his absence or as requested

Safety
Responsible for supporting the "unsafe" equipment reporting process and communication within the plant and to
Logistics
Ensures safe loading procedures followed, correct PPE worn at all times.
Ensures safe driving procedures within al plant compound operations. .

People
Supports liaison between central office logistics, Sales and Marketing and plant

Quality
Support Requests for Quotation and Purchasing activities.
Approve and validate route planning.
Audits of RDC´s
Drives Continuous improvement initiatives
Reports on carrier performance and drive improvement activities.

Responsiveness
Reviews and approves transportation changes
Communicates and analyzes monthly inbound freight performance charts
Documents, files, tracks and communicates status of carrier claims once received
Establishes routing for plant purchasing (non productive material moves)
Participates in the material PFEP meetings


Cost
Responsible for tracking cost savings and freight budget impact in conjunction with Sales and Marketing
Root causes expedite and none standard freight
Manages transportation changes including bid process support and information support
Initiates carrier claims for non-conforming carriers
Supports inventory analysis and actions as required
Ensures auditable security procedures in operation at all times with respect to vehicle security.


Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above
4 years experience in realted function
Fluent English
