GENERAL MISSION:

Based on Auchan Ethic Rules, the merchandiser assists the Senior Merchandiser and PM on offer preparation. He is responsible for the administrative follow-up of orders (Packaging, Quality, Logistic, Finance) under constant control and assistance of Product Manager and with close cooperation with Senior Merchandiser.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

ORDER FOLLOW UP

The merchandiser ensures the follow-up of orders from order confirmation till delivery and update all the relevant information in the IT system.

Monitor the order processing schedule, anticipate and solve issues during order process:

- Check and validate orders

- Validate the sample and the packaging with the Senior Merchandiser. He is responsible of the sample approval process and the packaging process

- Monitor the quality process with Labs, quality department and suppliers and follow the results of final inspection.

- Send shipment approval to suppliers

- Manage all the documentation process for custom clerance and supplier payment

- Coordinate supplier, customer, labs, inspection company and forwarder during all issues related to sample process and order follow-up

Constantly keep PM and Senior Merchandiser informed about any relevant issues which may cause delay of delivery.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

§ Education Background:

- Degree: College degree and above

- Major: International Trade (preferred)

§ Minimum Experience:

- 1 year relative experience ( included 1 years minimum with international trading background )

§ Language:

- Good spoken and written English

- Other European language (Spanish, Italia, Russian, French...) is a plus

§ Computer Skills:

- Familiar with Microsoft office with strong expertise on excel software
