General Description
The HR Specialist will report to HR Systems Manager.
He/she will support HR Systems Manager to implement and manage TE's corporate employee data system and systems service delivery. China HR Operations & Systems team is a dynamic team with broad responsibilities and interaction with numerous teams around the globe. The systems and services deployed by the team are central to the HR's ever evolving business model.
The role has a primary responsibility to support HR Systems Manager on the rollout of TE's corporate HR system initiative in China along with the preparation for the broader HR Operations & Systems transformation model implementation in the region. He/she will also have the responsibility for supporting the design and review on HR Systems processes that build up a wide best practices & sustainable support model. In addition, he/she will be involved in certain projects, working closely with local site HR.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the corporate HR system in China from an HR user perspective
- Close communication liaison with local site HR to understand the local system requirements, reporting procedures and support all activities during the system implementation
- Assist and coordinate system workshop and in rolling out system training to users during the implementation phase
- Understand the local HR systems and support the development of a data migration approach and plan
- Support the data conversion, organization structure set up and system testing activities
- Work with IS support team on HR system on-going support, incident & change management
- Support HR system post go-live activities
Competencies required
- Bachelor Degree
- Overall 3-4 year of working experience of which 1 - 2 years in C&B function
- Local HR system implementation experience preferred
- Local HR system administrator experience preferred
- End user of SAP HR module preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, influential style, strong relationship builder, attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to review current processes or data, detect and correct errors, take responsibility proactively
- Basic project management and organizational skills in a dynamic organization
- Good understanding of the local country HR system, processes and reporting procedures in sizable multi-national company a plus
- Excellent positive service mind set
- An advanced computer user in SAP, local HR system, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- Must be able to travel in China when require
