Senior Application Engineer
	Based in Shanghai

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Market Research
Conduct market research to gather market information, and prepare routine/simple analysis in order to help product manager produce report and recommendations to senior product manager.

Product Launch
Prepare BOM, leaflets and qualification documents in order to ensure successful product launch.

Technical Support
Prepare presentation materials/slides; prepare bidding documents in order to provide technical support to Sales. Works with Sales, PM and R&D whiles developing required engineering solutions, Responsible for products failure analysis and raising improvements

Product Training
Prepare training materials in order to help Product Managers promote new products internally.

Routine Product Management
Update existing product catalog, leaflets and installation instruction manuals based on customer feedback and product modifications in order to ensure that product documentations are current and error-free.

Requirements:

l BS degree in Engineering (preferable Electrical or Mechanical) or engineering experience. (5 years working experience)

· Experience in the specialized engineering areas of connectors for power transmission and distribution, especially in the area concerning the product line and related engineering principles is a plus.

· Be able to operate with considerable latitude for independent action or decision.

· Have good awareness of the Energy market in China, including competition and technologies.

· Knowledge of power connector manufacturing, relevant GB, IEC and IEEE standards, test lab procedures and techniques are all considered a plus.

· good communicator in both English and Chinese with the ability to make presentations to the required audience.

· Must be capable of being competent to make technical and engineering decisions.
