Role Summary/Purpose
The Accountant assists finance and accounting team in ensuring quality and efficiency periodic closing and reporting in accordance with GE financial policy, US GAAP, and PRC GAAP.

Essential Responsibilities
- Assist controller to ensure the effectiveness of all processes relating to closing and reporting - Assist the team internal and external auditing to meet compliance requirements - Assist finance system upgrading and process simplification - Prepare reconciliations with high quality - Apply Financial or tax related refunding - Assist team rotation if needed - Other Ad hoc reporting

Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required- At least 4 years of broad experience in accounting, financial analysis and / or audit- Experience in Oracle enterprise applications- Fluent in Chinese and English languages- Proficient in using Microsoft applications (Excel, PPT, and Words)- Eager to learn- Self-driven and can work independently- Good analytical skills- Good communication skill- CPA or equivalent designation is preferred

GE中国研发中心每年完成100多个研究项目。截至2009年底，GE在中国的研发人员共申请了450余项专利。
