Buying

- To study and define the product mix according to the specificity of each market

- To prepare the seasonal OTB for every season

- To attend seasonal buying sessions in Italy to ensure best merchandise is purchased at

appropriate quantities to achieve targeted sales projections and sell-throughs

- To distribute and allocate products

- To communicate product/purchase information to different departments, e.g. Retail, Wholesale

- To prepare sales forecast on basic products, re-ordering

Merchandising and Product Training

- To work with VM on product launches, store re-merchandising and season end sale

- To liaise with headquarter on seasonal product training materials

- To organise product training in all markets

- To prepare review reports on products

- To analyze sales performance through sell-through analysis & propose action plan

- To control inventory level

- To arrange retail pricing for all markets, to be in line with pricing policy and global positioning set by HQ

- To arrange transfer of merchandise to maximize sell-through %

- To propose season end discount and control discount to be in line with budget

- To liaise with HQ on defectives, claims, customer complaints and repairs

- To conduct market research, competitors' analysis, market & product trends and pricing
