Principal Accountabilities

-18 months working in the city out of Shanghai. Main responsibility is to lead a study of tires performance linked with maintenance & usage.

- After validation, he will transfer to GBM/CN/PM (based in Shanghai). Main responsibility is,

*In collaboration with Specialist Product/Usage (SPU), Product usage Field technician (PUFT) and QTB, define, lead & coordinate usage studies (with or without expert tools), tires collection or field placement to evaluate conditions of use, performance & risks related.

*To validate the relevance of field survey requests for a given market / performance, to analyze data and to interpret results while assuring their integrity.

*To publish relevant and argued structured synthesis, to contribute to the decision process of technical, quality & product marketing teams. These synthesis will also support the definition & relevance validation of test & simulation methods developed by performance teams.

*To trigger alert concerning risks regarding product performance.

*To work on OE support activity

Key Qualities Required

- Damage characterization and other damage measurements.

- Collection / Placement / Data processing tools and methods.

- Statistical data processing applied to its activity domain.

- Use / product / vehicles / performances interactions.

- Usage knowledge.

- Knowledge of product and associated services.

- Adaptability to different culture & business trip

Qualifications

Bachelor degree of material / mechanical engineering or equivalent Or 3 years experience in technical area (design, testing, automotive industry …)

Medium level in written / oral English

Oversea study is preferred.
