Alfa Laval has during recent years established Product Centre Asia located in Shanghai, to support the growing Asian market, representing global R&D and Product Management for our major product areas and technologies.

Product Centre Asia has a regional responsibility, consists of several Product Development teams, and has successfully driven product activities for Asia in general and China in particular. To further expand and strengthen our R&D organization, we are now looking for a new skilled, creative and highly motivated colleague, to join the Product Development team for Welded Heat Exchangers.

The R&D Centre for Welded Heat Exchangers (WHE) is located in Fontanil, France.

We are looking for an experienced individual working with authorities to interpret and apply pressure vessel regulations.

Responsibilities：

1. You will be responsible for Pressure Vessel interpretation and clarifications in R&D and supply projects.
2. You must build and nourish relationships with authorities to understand (possibly influence) future changes to codes and certifications.
3. You will be Project manager for WHE R&D and supply projects in periods of less code activities.
4. You may carry out design work.
5. You will participate in Alfa Laval PV specialist network.

Requirements:

1. You have a University degree, minimum Bachelor level, in Mechanical engineering.
2. Your communication skills are excellent, and you have the ability to network and work with Chinese authorities.
3. You have at least eight years of relevant design experience.
4. Experience with Chinese pressure vessel regulations, material standards and steel profile standards is a strong demand.
5. To work well in our project environment you need to be a good team-player and used to deliver results on time.
6. You have a natural ability to work with different cultures and also have cultural interest and awareness.
7. A senior engineer, preferably with project management skills and potential to be a future WHE R&D Team Leader.
8. Good level of English.
