Main Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute technical aspect of product transfers and development, both new and from USA & UK locations
- Provide manufacturing engineering support for existing product lines.
- Associate with product design teams and other colleague to set up engineering data for new product.
- Support assembly and test procedures, work flow diagrams, shop layout to meet production forecasts. Establish manufacturing time standards for manpower and capacity planning. Conduct studies to evaluate available capacity and equipment against the present and future manufacturing needs.
- Develop and procure necessary tooling, jigs and fixtures, detailed SOP, manual assembly process to support the manufacturing process and design specifications.
- Resolve manufacturing problems, clarify, improve, and streamline processes to create a more efficient and effective manufacturing environment. Identify problem, its root cause, short-term fix, long-term corrective action and implementation plan.
- Maintain and adhere to established procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance to ISO 9000 and other company standards.
- Coach operators with standard work instruction, equipment maintenance
- Review incoming parts to ensure compliance to specification. work together with local suppliers for any quality problem and help to improve the performance
- Monitor production facilities with regards to EHS requirement.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering with minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Good knowledgeable in IPC Standard as well as Electrical/Mechanical technical drawing.
- Should be a strong team player with flexibility to adapt to organizational needs and priorities.
- Must be hands-on, intuitive and solution-oriented with good communication skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using OFFICE software.
- Fluent in both oral & written English
- Travel will be required as part of training and product transfers and development, both to the USA & UK. Candidates may have periods where travel is extended as part of specific projects.
