Position Objective
Support and improve existing Company applications using currently technologies including but not limited to: PHP, CSS, XML, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, ASP, and Web Services
- Design and implement databases in support of web application development
- Maintain a high level of expertise in current technologies associated with Web Development
- Deliver code and applications to standard, specification and schedule
- Full lifecycle programming, from architecture phase through maintenance
- Enhancing scalability of systems
- Design and development of applications using PHP
- A regional role reporting directly to AP IT Application Manager, dotted line to local IT manager

The Analyst Programmer will:
- deliver documentation for each project including but not limited to:
o Business Requirements
o Functional Specification
o Technical Specifications
o Test Plans (Unit/Integration)
o Project Schedule
o Deployment and Package Documentation
- maintain, upgrade, and support existing or new web applications
- facilitate discussion about web resources and initiate new web sites or content areas as appropriate
- create and present proposals and requirements for new web applications
- draft new web applications and provide for client, end user, and peer review
- design and implement any databases required for new applications using an approved database
- implement new web applications using appropriate web application development technologies
- respond appropriately to all requests for information by company staff timely and/or escalate accordingly
- Support/maintain Development Environment under guidance from AP IT Manager
- Provide information, analysis, and ad hoc support or training for company management and staff, enabling them to understand and take advantage of technologies that will benefit the company.

Skills Required:
- Combined 2-3 years of experience in the following areas:
- Experience in web architecture, web site design, web site maintenance, and web content maintenance
- Experience in Object Oriented PHP programming, web application development and database design
- Strong Technical Understanding of Web Development Platforms and Tools (Linux, CVS)
- Experience in technical training, technical support, and general applications is also helpful
- Excellent oral and written, technical and non-technical communication and presentation skills required
- Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth corporate environment
