Main Responsibilities:

· Managing programs within the Customer Business Unit (CBU) Daimler&BMW until the end of program / lifetime.

· Responsible for project execution, timing, technical performance, project budget and profitability, commercial monitoring

· Maintain customer relationship within program scope and execute program activities according to the agreed program timeline.

· Lead regular project meetings with internal team in China and Europe as well with OEM in China; pro-active communication required.

· Directly interface with any internal (incl. TAKATA affiliated companies) and external party and manage information flow among the relevant parties.

· Ensure internal transfer of customer-specific information/data to relevant persons within CBU on local and global base and to other departments locally

· Responsibility for VA/VE and continuous cost reduction. Actively advance profit improvement activities and lead cross-functional teams for execution

Personality & Skill Requirements:

· Bachelor- or Master degree in commercial/economic discipline or a degree in engineering with business management skills

· Practical experience in automotive industry Tier 1 supplier for min. 5 years

· Strong Program Management background preferred.

· Practical experience with European / US OEM needed.

· Program Management background required.

· Performance and result oriented, cross functional thinking, customer focused

· Needs to challenge team results and perform influential leadership within a matrix organization

· Honest and reliable attitude with no reservations to address difficult situations internally and externally.

· Practical experience in managing small teams as Project Manager

· Age min. 26 years

· Mature and settled behavior.

· Understanding of customer timing and project requirements, preferably of a technically advanced and safety related product.

· Willingness to travel, flexibility, resistance

· If Business major, strong technical affiliation advantageous.

· Practical and very good experience with MS Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, MS Project, Powerpoint, Word)

Communication Skills:

External :

· Very good communication skills

· Establishing and active maintaining of customer relations also in case of critical situations

· Business fluent Chinese and English language (reading, speaking, writing) – regular communication required

· German language of advantage

Internal :

· Very good communication skills, team player

· Manage cross-functional team and prioritize activities within organizational capacity constraints

· Ensuring internal transfer of customer-specific information/data to relevant departments (Project Management, Engineering, Production, Quality) on local and global base
