Title: Supplier Quality Engineer-PCBA



Location: Anting, Shanghai



Main Focus

SQE is a supplier quality window, monitors and improves supplier quality performance, ensures implementation of GSQM, supplier lot control / Breakpoint, supplier concern management / CTS, review, follow up and verify supplier corrective and preventive action, supplier audit, supplier APQP & PPAP, organizes and conducts internal and external quality system audit.


Responsibilities

Improve Supplier Quality and Logistic performance based on Supplier Global Quality Manual with tools and methodologies developed by Supplier Global Quality.

Improve supplier quality management system.

Assure that all new/modified parts received from suppliers are accompanied by the correct release documents.

Support to supplier problem solving in time, ensure TRW plant production line run smoothly

Coordinate supplier non-conformance part containment, sorting and scrap.

Lead supplier charge back

Support to ensure correct concerns and defects reporting to suppliers in cooperation with Plant Quality function and enter data in the MOPS.

Lead supplier development and improvement activities.

Organize and conduct Quality Systems audits with representative teams for new and existing suppliers.

Support to verify and approve APQP and PPAP documents.

Identify plant / process related designated characteristics and provide them to supply base.

Support an active Supplier Concern Management:

Review supplier 8D response

Manage meeting with problematic suppliers and follow-up

Coordinate with Central Purchasing for consistent problem suppliers

Conduct quality management review meetings with specific suppliers and verify correct actions.

Review the suppliers critical defect will be detected during plant in-process quality (visual / poke-yoke).

Lead Cpk, suppiler parts and process audit.

Communicate events, problems and reports to partners in plants.



Competencies

Familiar with PCB process very well.
Knowledge of quality standards (TS16949).
Familiar with TS16949 Management tools such as APQP, PPAP, Problem Analysis Tools, SPC, MSA, 8D, Control Plan, FMEA, GD&T etc.


Education & Working Experience

Educational: Bachelor degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or its equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in a mechanical industrial environment, preferably quality control in automotive industry.
Experience in dealing with suppliers.
