The firm is headquartered in New York with offices in Amsterdam, Beijing, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, London, Luxembourg, Mauritius, Mumbai, San Francisco, São Paulo and Shanghai.
Position Summary:
This is a newly created role to oversee Human Resources activities for North Asia (Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai) and to liaise with corporate headquarters in New York. The HR Manager will identify, develop and administer policies to ensure best practices in standard operating procedures and compliance with local regulations as it relates to human capital.
Key Responsibilities:
? Ensure all personnel records are maintained and in compliance with all regulations
? Responsible for monthly headcount reporting
? Benchmark the Firms current Benefits programs and recommend changes/enhancements
? Manage the day-to-day administration of current health and welfare plans
? Support professional and non-deal recruiting processes
? Oversee the on-boarding process for new employees and record verbal and written agreements on compensation, bonus, relocation reimbursements and other benefits
? Develop and deliver new hire orientation and documentation
? Liaise with HR New York and office managers globally
? Assist/oversee monthly payroll
? Coordinate employee relocations
? Liaise with immigration counsel on employment visa matters
? Partner with the business to manage the year-end performance management/compensation process
? Conduct disciplinary meetings and exit interviews
? Identify, develop and deliver training programs
? Provide support to all employees in regards to corporate policies/programs/benefits/employee relations issues, etc
? Manage and mentor administrative staff
Candidate Profile:
? BS degree with 8+ years experience in the HR field, preferably in a financial services
? Total integrity and ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality
? Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook; PeopleSoft and other HR related software a plus
? Positive attitude and hands on work style
? Motivated individual with the ability to work independently or as a team player
? Must be able to travel
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as people skills
