Your assignment includes:
· Regular update on specification/drawing and keep supplier updated in time
· Sample check and approval
· To perform in-line and final quality inspection in factory
· Making sure the product is tested, approved and documented
· Communicate and secure changes in product requirement & production
· Continuous improvements on quality, packaging, production efficiency, etc
· Support supplier to implement and maintain the Quality System with IKEA working methods
· Product risk analysis and process control
· Support global technician on product/packaging improvement and spec updating
· Support purchaser in evaluating suppliers from the technical perspective

Is this the right challenge for you?

We are looking for a person with wide knowledge on material, such as steel, plastic, wood, textile, etc.; Familiar with manufacturing environment and understand the main production process, such as cutting, drilling, bending, punching, welding, edge banding, powder coating, washing and dying, etc; Able to read the drawing and skills on AUTO-CAD/Solid works/3-D drawing will be a plus; know how to make the measurement in the correct way; Knowledge about material/chemical testing; Familiar with the EN/ASMT standard; Knowledge about international quality system ISO 9000; good communication both in Chinese and English
