RESOURCES CNR MANAGER (Chemical & Mining industry)

Job Description

A) Overview

Global Talent & Innovation Network (GTIN) is a unique part of Accenture Management Consulting (AMC) and serves Accenture clients in Industry, Functional and Analytics related areas, across countries using an onshore/ offshore model for Management Consulting.

Currently we are seeking a manager level professional with industry, and/or consulting experience in:

• Chemical sector – Chemical or Building Materials industries, Pricing and Profitability Analytics, Plant Maintenance, Operations Excellence

B) Basic Requirements

• The position requires a minimum of bachelor’s degree in the relevant engineering field
• Excellent oral and written English

· Excellent oral and written Mandarin

• Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills

· Ability to develop and apply creative, workable solutions to project-related issues

• Self-motivated with strong analytical and communication skills
• Good inter-personal skills to work well with clients and other team members
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
• Understanding of Accenture’s area of business and overall business strategy in Energy Industry

C) Desired Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of progressive industry or consulting experience in Chemical or Building Materials industries/Mining or Metals industries
• Experienced in one of the following areas of profit and pricing analytics, plant operations, customer relationship management, demand forecasting
• Possess an impressive executive demeanor, team oriented and collaborative approach
• Demonstrate strong understanding of business, technology and process implications related to industry
• Maintain network and relationships to keep abreast with competitors’ activities and develop and maintain effective business relationships in the industry.
• Should be diplomatic, flexible, and can influence the “C” level client executives
• Can manage and lead a project team onshore / off shore, and to ensure that deliverables are met with quality and in a timely fashion
• Responsible for performance management of the project team

D) Other Skills & Experience

• MBA / Technical Master’s degrees is a plus
• English proficiency equivalent to band 7 of IELTS or score 100 of TOEFL
• Strong BPM skills - experience of operating model, process flows, leading practices, KPI’s required to execute mining activities across the value chain
• Knowledge or exposure to automation and industrial solutions related to ERP, production management(PIMS, LIMS, MES), maintenance and reliability, Asset management and operations optimization
• Overseas or MNC working experience is a plus
• Mandarin, Japanese and Korean / English bi-lingual abilities would be of advantages
