Job Description
This role is for a Senior Consultant/Manager in the Consumer Goods & Services industry team within the Products Operating Group in Accenture Management Consulting’s Global Talent & Innovation Network
This role is for a CG&S Senior Consultant/Manager in the Products Operating Group who will provide deep domain skills to help clients with strategy and business planning and have focus / exposure to one or more of the following functional areas:
? Brand management
? Channel management
? Account management
? Route to Market
? Sales strategy and operations,
? Sales force effectiveness
? Sales processes
? Sales compensation & reward
? Sales operations optimization
? Distributor management system,
? Distributor ERP, Distributor Integration (First hand experience of implementing any Distributor Management (e.g. Botree) system is preferred
? Trade promotions management
? Trade/ Consumer marketing
? Digital marketing/ digital brand management with CG&S, digital marketing firms or consulting firms
? E-commerce experience
? Merchandising
The CG&S Consultant will be responsible for helping in driving our CG&S clients’ strategy and business planning efforts. Responsibilities may include:
? Project Delivery: Work on small to medium-size teams to deliver projects for global clients.
? Business Development: Support efforts of global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the practice
? Industry Expertise: Provide industry expertise in various sub-segments of the CG&S industry
? Domain Development: Develop assets and methodologies, develop of points-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, conduct public speaking and publish in industry periodicals
Experience:
Specific experience will include:
? A minimum of 8 years (for Manager level) of progressive industry (MNC companies) and/or consulting experience in the CG&S industry, and preferably in the Home & Personal Care or Beverages sub-segment
? Consulting or functional experience across one or more of the following areas:
o Product and market entry strategy,
o Sales strategy and operations,
o Distributor Management and Channel Strategy, Distributor ERP
o Route to Market
o Sales force effectiveness,
? Distributor Process Design / Distributor ERP Systems experience (e.g. ERP deployment) would be an added advantage
? Experience working on large-scale Business / Operational Transformation projects desirable
? Strong program management skills
? Experience working with “C” level executive clients
? MBA from a Tier 1 B School
? Global exposure through education or working experience will be desirable

? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm
? Excellent team work and ability to work in distributed delivery environment
? Possesses and demonstrates high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work
? Strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts
? Be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach
