Responsibilities

1. Implementing sourcing strategies at local sites by utilizing world-class purchasing processes to manage the sourcing for manufacturing products & services in Asia.

2. Assist in the development of local sourcing strategy as required.

3. Managing or directing the management of Kodak's relationships with suppliers in Asia with focus on productivity; product & service quality; delivery & cycle time; & total delivered cost.

4. Working with the client to provide up-to-date and complete specifications for products /services to be purchased. Issue a clear request for quotations or utilize reverse-auction as a quotation tool. Analyze bids and select suppliers in co-operation with the client.

5. Participating in the client's key management meetings and providing client with inputs on cost, supply, and other business issues early enough to effectively influence sourcing decisions.

6. Ensuring day to day compliance with Purchasing policies, practices and procedures, including the maintenance of an auditable trail of day to day purchasing transactions.

7. Submitting necessary reports and participating internal team meetings as required.

8. Provide constructive input to the team and the purchasing organization to enhance operations and process improvement.

9. Good teamwork player

Qualifications:

1. University graduate & with strong technical background in engineering disciplines

2. Over five years managerial experiences in procurement function & with experience in sourcing commodities and supplier performance management/development.

3. Candidates have solid knowledge with China LVHM supplier base of various commodities or contract manufacturer will be advantage.

4. Ability of managing a business portfolio, formally develop and negotiate contracts.

5. Understand material supply chain, basic quality concept and capable to implement commodity strategy plan and benchmarking activities.

6. Candidates worked in a multinational company will be advantage

7. Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken & written).

8. Good PC skills (word, excel, power point etc.).
