EUCHNER GmbH + Co. KG (Germany) is the inventor and first manufacturer of multiple limit switches in the world. Since 1953’s, the company has committed to design, development and manufacturing of safety and control equipment in the fields of machinery and automation production lines. EUCHNER China is a wholly-owned subsidiary of EUCHNER GmbH + Co. KG, and we produce and sell electro-mechanical Safety equipment, Man-machine devices, and Automation components. Since 2005, EUCHNER has established a comprehensive base in China for Purchasing, Production, Sales, Technical Support and Services.
As the company enters a new phase of development in China, we need a qualified Purchasing Manager to join our young and dynamic team:

Duties:
1、Leading and enforcing a sourcing team to implement EUCHNER’s global cost optimization program in China.
2、Locating and qualifying potential local suppliers for parts, components, and materials for local production and global requirement.
3、Observing the Chinese supply market.
4、Definition of input quality control plans in cooperation with QA department of the headquarter.
5、Visiting new and existing suppliers; conducting supplier audits on a regular base.
6、Cooperating and communicating closely with Purchasing, QA, Production, etc. relevant internal departments at HQ and China for project implementation and daily operations.
7、Negotiating and agreeing purchasing contracts and monitoring their progress.
8、Processing payments and invoices for purchasing; order processing of HQ PO's; responsible for shipping and custom affairs.
9、Building a supplier database and using it as reference for the future.
10、Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.

Qualification-Requirements:
1、A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University with a major in Electro-mechanical, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years experiences in technical purchase for an industrial/manufacturing company.
2、Familiar with mechanical and electrical drawings, electrical/electronic components, and industrial materials (metal, plastic, etc.).
3、Knowledge in the manufacturing methods of our sourcing activities like plastic mould and injections, die-casting, lost-wax-casting, magnets, machining, stamping, etc.
4、Excellent spoken and written English.
5、Good computer skills with MS office and data analysis tools.
6、Have a driver License.

Additional Qualification/Desired Characteristics:
1、Technical purchasing experiences with a switch, sensor or automation control equipment/component manufacturing company.
2、Experiences in operating ERP, SEMIRAMIS system is preferred.
3、A self-motivated and systems thinking professional with integrity and the ability to organize and plan to deliver the required business goals and objectives.
4、Good negotiating skills and experiences, good knowledge of terms and conditions of a purchasing contract and relevant laws and regulations in China.
5、Willing for regular business trips in China.
6、An understanding of basic accounting practices and inventory management.
