Multimedia 3D Team Leader

Primary objective of the position

_Produce photo-realistic images as well as possessing artistic abilities that enable the production of evocative images and quick 3D studies from relatively unresolved design information.

Key Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience are desirable:

_8+ years experience

_Production experience using 3D Studio Max 9 and VRay 1.50 RC3, Photoshop

_High-quality portfolio of diverse range of projects

_Ability to read and understand architectural drawings

_Proficiency in Sketch Up, AutoCAD 2006/07 or ADT

_Knowledge of Premiere Pro and Combustion, experience in farm rendering is also desirable

_Knowledge of animations an advantage

Key Activities

Please note that periodically you may be asked to undertake activities outside of those listed below.

_Produce Computer Generated Images (CGI’s) of building exteriors and interiors and any other images required and as briefed for each project

_Maintain, develop and update image and model libraries

_Consult and coordinate with the primary 3D visualiser (if applicable), the Studio Technology

_Manager and the HASSELL Solution Delivery Manager to review and update work-flows, software and hardware platforms

_Lead a small team in the production of CGI’s to tight timelines and budgets

_Interpret complex architectural drawings to produce 3D models, renders and images

_Utilise their artistic ability and initiative to create and produce evocative images in a range of styles consistent with the nature of the project

_Co-operate with all Occupational Health and Safety policies and legislative requirements

_Ability to work both individually and as part of a team

_Possess a proactive approach to new CAD packages and the ability to think 'outside-the-box' to develop new solutions and refine existing presentation techniques and systems

Working Conditions

_9:00am to 6:00pm

_Flexibility in working hours to meet deadlines is imperative and a requirement of the position. This may mean after hours and weekend work occasionally.
