Job Purpose:
The Booking Consultant is responsible for assisting potential and existing customers with overseas living arrangements for accommodations. This includes understanding the customer needs, recommending options, explaining the accommodations, and matching the best accommodations to the customers’ requirements/budget. The Booking Consultant’s success is measured by the number of students placed and student satisfaction with the company’s service.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Advise and secure the best accommodation options for the client according to the “Booking Bible”
2. Continually increase knowledge about the business and all service options available for clients
3. Assure accommodations are available for clients according to client requirements
4. Help the company promote a variety of overseas accommodation to improve booking rates
5. Communicate with local or regional property managers to provide client feedback on accommodations
6. Represent individual and groups of clients to ensure client satisfaction with the company’s services
7. Tract and share client feedback with the company’s management team to continually evaluate services, potential new offerings, and online content improvements
8. Follow up with clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to ensure the client receives prompt response to inquiries
9. Develop content for the website to continually improve the presentation of properties, accommodations and services
10. Post relevant social media updates to drive bookings, promote properties, and build community
11. Ensure payments are received on time and according to contract
