Account Manager Airline IT Group

Amadeus China currently has an exciting opportunity to join our Airline IT team as an Account Manager. In this important role you will be responsible for defining and implementing the business development and retention strategy for your airline customers. This role will offer you the opportunity to initiate, drive and complete the commercial process required to maximise revenue, whilst also working on new business and growth opportunities.
In addition, the role will be responsible for the following activities:
? Establishing and facilitating strong relationships at the relevant levels both with your airline customers and internally
within Amadeus
? Acting as the interface for airline customers in order to represent their business needs to various stakeholders
within the organization, and be the single point of contact for commercial matters
? Managing the P&L, profitability and sales pipeline for your customers
? Holding overall responsibility for execution of contract
? Leading a cross-functional group of global Amadeus staff to ensure the delivery of products and services
? Driving the sale, negotiation and contracting processes for additional products and services
? Actively sharing account information with key internal stakeholders
The successful candidate will have 6-10 years or more working in the Airline or Travel Technology industry. You will have solid experience in a customer facing environment (such as sales, customer support or business development) with leadership experience. You will have been responsible for budgets into the multi-million euros. Advantageous to your application will be a good understanding of the economics of the airline distribution and IT business; experience in e-Commerce direct sales and / or IT sales is highly desirable.
