ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


- Accountable to China Procurement Manager and responsible for the procurement deliverables in China
- Lead the implementation of sourcing arrangements that assures alignment with the INEOS Procurement Strategies of the respective procurement categories
- Understand business needs and collaborate with line manager and identify opportunities and develop necessary solutions to materialize the anticipated value
- Build effective relationships with key suppliers to promote Ineos as a preferred customer and manages suppliers’ operational performance
- Build effective relationships with internal businesses to achieve the purpose of this role
- Effective understanding of the supplier market environment
- Responsible for the supplier qualification and commercial negotiation
- Responsible for quality control along the value chain
- Ensure compliance with required Ineos policies covering SHE, Ethics, Code of Conduct and Procurement Principles, REACH policy

QUALIFICATION and EXPERIENCE


- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- A degree in chemistry and/or post graduate certification in business study is advantageous
- Above 2 years working experience with good track record in a procurement or SQE role in the relevant industry, MNC experience is a plus
- Skilful in development & implementation of procurement processes, strategy development & application, supplier qualification & selection, negotiating & influencing, contract execution, supplier performance measurement & management
- Strong track record of delivering commercial results to the business bottom line
- Willing to travel frequently and work under the pressure
- Proficient in Chinese and English, Especially in Chemistry English.
