PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Supply Planner works in a team in close co-operation with Business Developer (Purchaser) and Purchase Technician. Supply Planner secures that agreed category business set-ups are running and continuously improved when it comes to i.e. lead-time and cost-effective deliveries to decided place.


ASSIGNMENTS:

Supply development with focus on availability/flexibility and lead-time.
Ensure the most competitive supply solution for each category business.
Follow-up and analyze goods and order flow (forecasts, delivery plans, stock levels, goods in transit)
If failiours in Delivery Performance, initiate actions and follow them up
Work closely with the suppliers to provide them with relevant information and methodological guidance and to help them reaching the required performance level.
Monitoring and follow-up of the daily business and taking necessary actions.
Performing capacity evaluations.
Monitoring and securing that capacity is synchronized with demand.
Work with start-ups of new suppliers.

KNOWLEDGE:

Strong knowledge of logistics.
Strong knowledge of different order and distribution methods.
Good knowledge of the whole supply chain and who does what.
Good knowledge of production planning processes.
Good knowledge of our business systems.
Good understanding of financial aspects related to supply.


MOTIVATION AND CAPABILITIES/SKILLS:

Initiative to find new solutions and to optimize the existing ones.
Good PC skills and willingness to work extensively with computer systems.
Ability to set goals, implement and follow up.
Ability to travel 2-3 days per month.
