This is a newly created position as part of our commitment to set-up the factory in Shanghai. You will be the first few pioneers to get start the factory set-up from scratch. It is a challenge for someone who already had substantial relevant working experiences to seek their new height and grow with the company. Proper / overseas training will be provided.

Manufacturing Engineer/ Industrial Engineer

(Malu, Shanghai)

Summary

Formulates and implements manufacturing procedures to maintain and improve the competitive position and profitability of the operation. Directs and coordinates final assembly and final testing production activities so that approved products are manufactured to meet quality standards and cost objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities

§ Assure all assembly and fabrication procedures are maintained in a current and controlled status.编制ＷＩ，培训现场作业员工，并解决装配现场的质量问题

§ Involving in overseas Project Product transfer facilities to China，负责工程技术转移包括图纸的审核，根据价格工艺的合理性提出图纸更改要求，启动并跟踪ＥＣＲ。

§ Assure all products are fabricated, assembled and shipped as required to meet quality requirements　参与local sourcing，解决 sourcing 过程中的技术问题，参与供应商的选择与评估

§ Continually evaluate and improve manufacturing processes.

§ Work with the Product Development team to evaluate the impact of new designs on the manufacturing processes. Determine the most efficient implementation of process changes to meet new production requirements.

§ Implement Lean Manufacturing cell for products manufactured within the location.

Qualification

§ Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Design or Manufacturing Engineering

§ Minimum 5 to 8 year as Industrial Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer in manufacturing environment with low quantity, high mix product, high value added product.

§ Ideally, candidates from Instrumentation Industry & Medical Device industry.

§ Experience as Production Lead or Supervisor preferred

§ Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes

§ Ability to design and implement lean organization : Value stream mapping, design process, calculation and implementation Basic lean tool knowledge such as VSM,Kanban, 5 why.

§ Ability to multi-task, work independently with effective time management skills

§ Proficiency in the manufacturing modules of an ERP system

§ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with proven teamwork and leadership skills
