General purpose of position:

- Responsible for overseeing the operation Manufacturing, Final Test, Packing Departments. Focus on meeting company objectives, customer satisfaction, operational excellence and a safe work environment.

Description of duties and responsibilities:

- Departmental budgets.

- Staffing.

- Order Review and Scheduling.

- Manufacturing process, delivery schedules, manufacturing quality and efficiencies.

- Final Test process.

- Compensation, hiring and performance issues.

- Capacity planning.

- Cross-functional communications and cooperation.

- Establishing and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

- Recommendations for repair, replacement and or improvement of manufacturing, final test, traffic and facilities tools and equipment.

Skills and abilities needed for this position:

- People and project management skills.

- Computer operation and office software knowledge.

- Use and operation of ERP system.

- Leadership and organizational skills.

- Establish and operate within budgets.

- Short and long term planning.

- Evaluate and recommend manufacturing practices and principles.

- Ability to direct, inspect, and evaluate the actions of others.

- Able to perform constantly in a multi-tasking mode of operation.

Education and training needed for this position:

- College degree in Business Management or Engineering and at least 5 years of management experience in the manufacturing of large capital equipment.
