In order to support the high speed growth, PEER China now invites high caliber personnel to take up the position of ERP Project Manager. The position will be located in Shanghai or Xinchang and report to the Vice President, Group Demand Chain and I.S.
Job Summary
· The ERP Project Manager's role is to plan, design, develop, and launch a successful ERP implementation. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of ERP implementation and development through best practices and supporting end users in the organization about how to use ERP software efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives.
· The ERP Project Manager is also responsible for planning and coordinating the change management of processes required for the support of ERP systems and other applications necessary for business operations. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Key Responsibilities
· Understand the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of the project goals and objectives.
· Achieve project goals while working under the constraints of project scope timeline and budget.
· Define the scope of the project to include budget, people, time line, deliverables for project goal and objectives.
· Manage the work of third party consultants engaged in the project.
· Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
· Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow aligned with the ERP process.
· Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
· Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operating systems across the organization.
· Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications.
· Develop and oversee the ERP change management process across the organization in all affected areas.
· Collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of ERP software programs and applications.
Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
· Bachelor degree in business administration, operations management or equivalent
· Around 5 years' relevant experience with multinational company background
· Experience in the implementation of manufacturing modules of ERP system (Epicor preferred)
· Demonstrated understanding of discrete manufacturing process
· Sound project management skills; able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
· Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
· Proactive thinking, people oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, can influence others
· Competent and proficient understanding of platforms such as Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003 and 2008
· Experience with Epicor 9 ERP Software a plus
· Bilingual in Mandarin and English
