Job Description

General Summary:

We are looking for an intelligent and highly motivated research scientist to assist in the development of novel antibody drugs. The candidate should have a solid background in protein science, cell biology, and molecular biology and should have at least three years experience in R&D in the area of antibody drug development. Extensive laboratory experiences are essential for this position, with various biological/biochemical techniques. The individual should have excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform characterization of antibodies such as ELISA, immuno-assay, electrophoresis, chromatography, and various other techniques.
2. Cell culture, transfection, and cell based assays to evaluate antibodies and study mechanisms, including FACS and various microscopic techniques.
3. Develop and carry out assays to screen engineered antibodies for therapeutic candidates.
4. Perform assays to characterize antibodies such as ELISA, immuno-assay, electrophoresis, chromatography, and various other techniques.
5. Record and analyze data, organize databases, literature survey, write reports and present the results.
