Key Duties & Responsibilities

-Develop GTAT china process of regulatory review plan (compliance review tool), permit review plan with EHS director, China VP (by compliance calendar)and oversee enforcement at field service to make sure is of 100% compliance with national EHS laws and local laws, regulations
-Regular field safety audit including Pre-screen safety requirements prior to new installation based on annual field safety audit plan.
-EHS trainer and maintain EHS training matrix for employees of all level at China attend EHS training per training matrix.
-Work with EHS director design employees involvement platform and reward mechanism, reporting card, round table talk ,EHS day, etc
-Industrial hygiene management: include I&H risk assessment among GT china, I&H hazards monitoring and individual sampling, yearly occupational health physical inspection for affected employees
-Regular site EHS audit and field service site audit with EHS director or site operation leader, project leader and generate audit report to service director after.
-Work with HR to track status of all injury and work-related illnesses to make sure 100% compliance with work related injury law
-Crisis and emergency coordinator: develop GTAT china emergency response plan and necessary training for all employees (first aid, evacuation drill, extinguisher drill, fire permit review, etc) and necessary equipment available.
-Accident investigation report tracking: make sure operation manager and Project leaders timely submit accident reports and all report meet requirements, and real root cause captured, corrective actions done
-Work with field service manager to track contractor safety per procedure.
-Finalize Monthly EHS statistics of GTAT sites, and field service teams.
-PPE evaluation and selection based on JSA and site working needs.



Requirements

-Major on safety management with bachelor degree, or mechanical engineering
-More than 5-7 years solid EHS experience in foreign company as manufacturing areas, especially safety management& tech expertise.
-Strong capability on risk identification and related experience on risk mitigation plan
-Clear thinker and self-motivation
-Good communication skill& fluent English
-Project management experience on field installation preferred, strong field safety audit skill as well
-Can be available for travel at customer& supplier sites domestically
