- Accountable for sourcing, developing new suppliers for the supply of fitness equipment & machines.
- Accountable for ensuring the products supplied meet the required quality standards of this specialized retailer.
- Responsible for working directly with the retailer in New Zealand to help develop a product range of exercise equipment to meet the retailers customers needs
- Responsible for supporting the NZ team in understanding product innovation and product trends to ensure our No1 market position is maintained.
- Support the development and implementation of QA procedures to ensure factory quality and delivery in to the New Zealand market
- Communicate with the NZ buyers for the product enquiry and provide the professional service as an expert.
- Lead buying trips into factories with the NZ buyers to support on product development / price negotiation and delivery lead times
- Work closely with managers / suppliers / buyers, to resolve production issues
- Identifying and resolving any issues that may prevent product objectives being met;

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of fitness Equipment product sourcing experience in trade field or buying office at a senior level is required
- Strong fitness equipment production knowledge is required
- Possessing knowledge of good supplier sources is an advantage.
- Education: University Graduate or above,
- Language Skill: Fluent in oral and written English, CET6 is must or above.
- Computer skills: Strong computer skills in Excel/Office/PPT/Outlook, etc
- Additional Skills
- You can work independently and are able to Travel.
- You should be a team-oriented worker with excellent interpersonal skills. Working with enthusiasm and be highly motivated.
- You should be well organized, provide detailed follow up & able to work under pressure.
- You must be customer centric with great costing and negotiation skills
